- 2 Bags Cranberries
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3 Blood Oranges
- Zester or Grater
- Chef’s Knife
- Medium Sauce Pan
- Large Spoon
PREP & COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES - COOK TIME: 20 MINUTES
STEP 1: Juice all 3 Blood Oranges. (Hint: roll blood orange before you juice)
STEP 2: Put cranberries sugar and blood orange juice in pot.
STEP 3: Zest 1 Blood Orange into the pot.
STEP 4: Bring to boil and simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
STEP 5: Pour into bowl and garnish with orange zest.
STEP 6: Enjoy!
A great holiday wine is Lambrusco. Most Lambrusco is produced in the Emilia-Romangna region of Italy. Look for a frizzante, which is slightly sparkling. While Lambrusco is red it is light and effervescent and pairs well with holiday meals.
